Kya Quinn is a writer and producer born and raised in Brooklyn, New York.
With a focus on intersectionality, Kya’s work explores different identities that are folded into the Black experience. Kya enjoys using comedy as a vehicle to approach social commentary, making it easier to digest for conversation. Her interests also extend to music content, with a background as a journalist and conceiving creative to highlight emerging and prominent artists.
Currently, Kya works full-time as a producer at Smartypants Pictures where she works with non-profit and university clients to develop and manage creative from concept all the way to delivery.
